WHAT IS IMPACT?
Impact is the practice of using films - especially documentaries - to create meaningful social, cultural, or political change.
Through screenings, events, panels, partnerships, campaigns, educational initiatives, and public engagement, impact work connects films to the communities, institutions, and decision-makers who can act on the issues they raise.
Its goal is not only to reach audiences, but to spark dialogue, shift narratives, influence policy, strengthen movements, and support those directly affected by the stories being told.

THE PICKERS (2024-2025)
A Film and Campaign impact campaign inspired by the documentary The Pickers (dir. by Elke Sasse).
The campaign's goals is to raise public awareness and mobilize policymakers, NGOs, and food system stakeholders across Europe to challenge the systemic exploitation of migrant agricultural workers within the European food supply chain.
As Impact Producer for France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, I was responsible for developing and implementing the regional impact strategy accompanying the film’s European outreach campaign.

BIRDS OF WAR (2026)
An impact campaign inspired by the documentary Birds of War (dir. by Janay Boulos & Abd Alkader Habak).
Birds of War follows Lebanese journalist Janay Boulos and Syrian activist-cameraman Abd Alkader Habak across 13 years of revolutions, war and exile. Told through their own archives, it is a love story and a reckoning: who gets to tell stories from conflict zones, who controls the frame, and what is lost when human lives become content.
